AVC
Advanced Video Coding is a video compression standard. AVC was developed for maximum encoding efficiency and makes it possible to produce good quality video compression at low bit rates. It is one of the mandatory video compression methods for high-definition television transmissions and for mobile devices (e.g. cell phones, PDA’s).
